What kind of dvd player would play out of region dvds?

I have three out of region dvds that wont play in my dvd player. A friend of mine told me a sony dvd player would play out of region dvds, but I want out side opinion. Please help me!
I should add that my three out of region dvds are from Australia and my curent dvd player is a dolby.

      A really cheap one that you have not heard of. Defiantly not any sony crap.

      Most middle to lower end players can be unlocked pretty easy.
