What is the best dvd player you can buy to play scratched discs?

We have a problem when renting dvd’s. We can never watch them due to the scratched surface. Most skip or won’t play at all. Any thoughts?

      i dont know how to help with playing them, but i know that burning them usually results in a fully playable disc. hope i helped.
