How to make karaoke dvd’s play on a computer?

I have a Promac Cantana DVD Karaoke Player which includes a 10,000-song dvd. I try to load the disc in my Aspire 4935 laptop but won’t play. I searched over the web but couldn’t find a software that may decode the disc. I was planning to make a copy of the dvd so I can bring it with me making my computer a karaoke machine. Any help?
