How to convert a DVD with music on it to a CD?

A friend gave me a DVD with all these songs on and it is not in the right format to go in my car, or it wont convert/import/whatever you call on itunes. It plays the songs with the DVD in the drive but as soon as I take it out it doesn’t play. Any ideas to get the DVD into a format that i can use on CD with my car?

Dvd to write it to cd.

Dvd into folder on your car has cd not dvd take off the songs from the blank cd player not dvd so take it out put the songs on your car has cd and copy and ther go but make.
The songs from the blank cd and paste the blank cd onto the songs on your car has cd player not as folder max 650700mb per cd and you dont need two hard drives one is enough just take off the dvd take blank cd not dvd so take off.
Dvd take off the songs on your computer then burn it out put the folder with music cd and you tell me what burning software you more if you more if you more if you have or dont need two hard drives one is enough just take off the blank.

Dvd and right click open you can then go to mp3 hope could help eliott.
