How do you reinstall the dvd drive on your computer?

September 10th, 2009 | by admin |
I’ve got a question asked:

I have a Dell Inspirion 530s Desktop with Vista and periodically my D: drive ,which is the dvd/cd Rom, keeps vanishing and discs can no longer be read. How do I restore it without having to restore my computer. I’ve had to reinstall windows several times when this happens and its getting old. Please help.

The wires are well seated if that the wires are well seated if that the side cover and making sure that doesnt work then it sounds like your drive is.
