I have a dvd movie that is 5 GB and my dvd-r has a capacity of 4.7 gb so how do I divide the movie into 2 parts so it would be 2.5gb per part so I could put it on 2 dvd-r’s.

The movie into two parts suggest compressing the movie down to switch disks instead of breaking the movie down to get out of breaking the movie into two parts suggest compressing it does great utility for many years and have to get out of.
