How do I know if my laptop is DVD burning compatible. It should be able to burn both cd and dvd?

I have a Dell, I only got it within the last two years. I can definatley watch dvd’s, but how do I know if I can burn them. Please help. I have to do a slide show for my grandpa’s funeral and I have to burn it onto a dvd.

I would check the specs on the box it came in or find the model you have online and checking it by that

The dvd rwr but you have some type of software to burn the access door to use it so make sure you have some type of software to the software to use it so make sure you have something that shouldnt be problem.
