DVD Ripping?

My external DVD player only says it can rip my DVD to Windows Media Audio, Windows Media Audio Pro, Windows Media Audio (Variable Bit Rate), Windows Media Lossless, mp3, and WAV (Lossless). I need to rip it to iTunes and then onto my iPod. I think it uses mp4 format but it doesn’t have that as a choice for ripping. How do I do it?

Ripping DVD I usually use E.M. Free DVD copy. because it lets me rip dvd easily, and it allows me rip DVD to other popular video formats such h264, Xvid, MOV, VOB, Mpeg, Mpeg4, Mpeg TS, AVI, WMV, and so on.
so I can watch dvd movies on portable player like iPod, iPhone etc. conveniently. it can divides dvd into different chapters, I can rip my I favorite ones. in addtion to, it can copy whole DVD to hard disc.
