There are some great games out there for the 360, good quality games displayed on a nice monitor really lets you appreciate the visual effects. Compared to the 360 HD DVD player, Dell’s 50″ screens are 720p/1080i 1368×768 resolution, and not like the new 1080p 1920×1080 that’s out now.

The KING KONG 360 HD DVD movie didn’t seem to be HD or 6x better than a regular DVD movie compared to the xbox 360 HD DVD player. I was disappointed when I first viewed the KING KONG 360 HD DVD disc that is included. I was so sad that I was prepared to return it to Amazon, but then I changed the screen on the xbox360 HD DVD (which I hadn’t done since I bought the DELL 2yrs ago with the ARIA DVD) the 360 HD DVD movie simply ‘came to life!’

The 360 HD DVD has beautiful colors, detail images in the shadows,real blacks and a ‘film like’ appearance to the whole 360 HD DVD . I’ve seen KING KONG on regular DVD and it was nice, but this Xbox 360 HD DVD Player does something to the ‘feel’ of the movie detail, for example: in the ‘T-REX battle,facing the last beast, I could see KONG clearly (360 HD DVD) “BITE the TONGUE” of the T-REX and ripped it out of its MOUTH!.

I missed that split second detail in my regular DVD player, but not in the 360 HD DVD player. You’d better get some good xbox 360 downloads.

This player does what HD should do… blow you away with detail and presentation, the 360 HD DVD players great. The mpeg 4(AVC-H.264)/VC-1/codec is in full glory in 360 HD DVD. But so is Blu-ray, now that they too are adopting the more modern compressing codes and correcting their earlier players (firmware:Genesis chip disable/Samsung BDP1000) / movie releases (old mpeg2) along the way. Finally, the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player is a great add-on for the 360 console, the answer to the Blu-ray PS3. Buy it!

What used to be impossible is now easy to do. You can actually rip any DVD you want to your computer, convert it and load the converted movie onto your video iPod.

How you can get a movie onto your iPod is no longer restricted to the Apple store online. There is no account necessary, no downloads form the internet of a format that will play only on your iPod and cannot be converted for any other use. There is software available now to iPod users that allows them to use their existing DVD collection and iPod together.

Who wants to pay for the same movie twice; especially if you already have a hard copy of it? Paying to be able to watch a copy of a movie in a specialized format just makes the iPod that much more expensive to use and enjoy. Using conversion software will cut down on the amount of money you spend over the long run to enjoy movies on your video iPod.

Once you purchase conversion software to use with your video iPod, it becomes much less expensive to get the movies you want to see onto your iPod. If you should decide to purchase a new DVD at full price, you will at least have a hard copy of the movie that you can watch on any television with a DVD player. Not to mention the fact that purchasing a regular DVD gives you practically limitless options of where to buy, and the kinds of movies that are available to you and now available on your iPod too.

If you own a video iPod, it only makes sense that you should have conversion software to make the most of what your iPod can do for you. Don’t allow yourself to be limited in what you can watch on your iPod and where you can get it because of the specialized format the video iPod requires to play video. All you need it the ability to adapt your video media to that format and then you will be able to watch it on your iPod. The iPod becomes a much more enjoyable device when you are no constricted in your ability to put what you want on it.

Think of the possibilities, any DVD you want can now be enjoyed on your video iPod. Isn’t being able to listen to or watch the things you want to what the iPod is about? Conversion software for the iPod means digital freedom.
