      The divx format avi and rips dvds etc etc you would need the free any dvd could be ripped except those copy protected ones like game dvds etc you would need the divx codec to play the avi and free httpwwwprotectedsoftcomdownloaddvd2avi_ripperexe it is region free version it works great.
